Greetings from Seattle!

For Digital Prepress class we have to create a magazine. We all need to write articles for it, design ads, etc. I'm officially the editor, plus I'm writing articles for the "Grubbin'" section as well as the "Recreate" section. I hope I can re-use some of the ads I've created in other courses for this.

Today was rather interesting. This morning I found my old glasses (well, actually they are only as old as the other broken pair that I usually wear) and decided to wear them. I always thought they were a little bit dorky, so I avoided wearing them outside.. but this time I figured since the other ones are in such bad shape that they'd practically fly off in a gust of wind, I would wear them. I figured "well, I might look like a dork but I don't care."

Later, while I was riding the bus to school, I thought to myself "hmm, I think today will be a really great day." I don't know why I thought that out of the blue like that, but for some reason I was expecting something good to happen.

On my way to class, I was walking down the parking lot.. and I saw this really attractive woman walking in the opposite direction. As she comes closer, she says "hi." At this point I'm wondering if I know her. She asks, "what's your name?" I respond with "Sean." Then she asks "can I give you a hug?" I'm thinking "wow, this doesn't happen every day" and we hug each other. She tells me "you're just so cute" and I say "thank you" and then she walks off. That just made my whole day.

Today our rough drafts were due for an assignment in English Comp class, with the final drafts due Tuesday. My teacher looked over my draft, gave me full points for it and said I was done. So that was cool too.

Also, when I went to get a spicy meat snack from the vending machine, I got two packages for my 65 cents instead of just one.

Today was a great day after all. Oh, and I no longer have a problem with these glasses. I think they suit me. :)

Find your own pose!

Fireman's Carry is the pose of two people who are fully committed. They may feel reluctant to commit to anything else in their lives (Fireman's Carry couples tend to rent versus own, and respond to every invitation with a "maybe"), but their dedication to each other is unshakeable. Well, I had a lot of fun for Easter actually. I think it was the best one ever! :) Our family all went out to Castles & Coasters. I rode the Go-Karts, the Desert Storm (twice, once sitting by a cute girl who was a SCREAMER lol and once by myself.) I played air hockey with my brother (score was tied at 4:4,) some arcade games like The Grid, Need for Speed with my mom, Joust with my brother (I got the daily high score,) some tank game with my brother, and my mom, little brother and me wanted to go on the bumper boats but they had to leave the line so I was the only one on the ride at the time. Not so fun. =p But I did get a little wet. Later we went to the Carl's Jr/Green Burrito place and I had a jalapeno version of the Six Dollar Burger. Goods stuff. :) Fun fun
